Giroux Brothers completed the installation of 4,800 square feet of premium Lexington Elite artificial turf as part of a commercial site enhancement. Work began with full excavation of the install area to a depth of 8–12 inches, including saw-cutting asphalt along existing curb lines and carefully pulling and resetting granite curbing. A dense-grade gravel base was hauled in, leveled, compacted, and fine-graded to ensure proper stability and drainage.
Once base preparation was complete, geotextile fabric was installed prior to turf placement. All turf seams were professionally joined using adhesive and seaming tape, and the perimeter was secured with nailer boards and anchoring spikes as needed based on field conditions. Wonderfill infill was applied at a rate of 2 pounds per square foot to provide ballast, fiber stability, and long-term performance.
Asphalt patching work was coordinated with the subcontracted paving team prior to excavation, completing the transition between turf and hard surface and delivering a clean, finished edge. All excess material and debris were removed from site, ensuring a polished turnover.
